A new face
“Tita, why you have eyelashes?” my 4-year-old nephew asked me with a disturbed expression on his face.
“You mean eyeliner?” I asked, “I’m wearing makeup today. You don’t like it?”
“No…”
“You like how I looked before better?”
“Yeah. I don’t like your new face. I like your old face,” he said.
Kids are hilariously flattering sometimes. My old face is better. What made this funnier is that his brother (5 months old) who usually smiles when he sees me, was looking at me like he had no clue who I was and might also be disturbed.
