A new face
“Tita, why you have eyelashes?” my 4-year-old nephew asked me with a disturbed expression on his face.
“You mean eye[i]liner[/i]?” I asked, “I’m wearing makeup today. You don’t like it?”
“No…”
“You like how I looked before better?”
“Yeah. I don’t like your new face. I like your old face,” he said.
Kids are hilariously flattering sometimes. My old face [i]is[/i] better. What made this funnier is that his brother (5 months old) who usually smiles when he sees me, was looking at me like he had no clue who I was and might also be disturbed.
