I Am a Father

So I took Lucas out of that daycare I had him in while I worked. It looked like a great place for him, he could rest and they would educate him and care for him, but they have been mistreating him. For many nights he refused to eat, and had panic attacks when I tried to feed him, and he's been having more frequent seizures recently. When he does eat he vomits it back up every time.

The other night I walked into the place to find him on a bed with a rag in his mouth, crying, the staff said it was to get him to stop vomiting, I picked him up and left with him, took me close to two hours to calm him down from being abused by people who promised to take care of him during the day, I filed a complaint the next morning against them because that's abuse, you don't do that to someone who's sick. Come to find out they have been force feeding him. I mean it too.

He's been having severe grand mal seizures since then and has been so exhausted. My parents came out and is watching him for the time being while I work. When he's awake or conscious, he's been pretty happy. Especially since they came out and have been spoiling him. I'm pissed off though about this whole thing.

Not surprised-that is abuse you must have been horrified. I hope you find somewhere else for your boy soon-a better place.

Yeah I was horrified and ready to take the employee's head off. I didn't though. He's getting spoiled rotten by my parents during the day so he's pretty happy. Thank you for your love and support for us

Thank god for your folks. Can they stick around for a while?it seems like a lot for you to manage on your own. I'm not sure how this works in the US is there any chance of state funding for care?@Nathanlynch1984:

@Peppapig: yeah they're going to stay for a while. It's a lot to manage but I've been doing it by myself for years now. He just needs someone who loves him and spoils him to take care of him while I am at work. Yes there is state funding but I'm making too much money to receive any for him
