@TheLastMan: Where do you people come up with stuff like this --make it up out of whole cloth? Is there a shred of evidence (even if it was possible to make a causal relationship) of reasonable disciplinary spanking turning a child into an adult serial killer?

@beckychandler: raising serial killers. They are going to end up as inmates serving life.

@TheLastMan: I really don't think you understand what you are saying here. Serial killers are generally amoral sociopaths with no sense of empathy. These are not the results of raising well disciplined children who respect authority. If anything a serial killer is a product of genetics more than environment.

@Kathryn05: I have to say that doesn't even sound remotely logical. You spank your kids and they become serial killers. That sounds stupid.
