I married a man and we were married 5-6 years when we had a child. Then poof, he checks out emotionally on me and I'm raising my son alone while married. I didn't want to be with him because he was dragging me down, affecting my health, and I thought my son and I would be better off if we didn't have to put up with this man who suddenly decided he didn't want to deal with us. It hurt deeply. It felt like betrayal and I wasn't going to let my child grow up in the middle of broken trust.
I divorced and focused on my son and navigating life alone as my parents passed away in my early 30's and my family decided to abandon me for not keeping their disgusting secrets.
I have put my entire being into being a good Mom.
And 9/10 someone is treating me like trash because his father isn't around 😂
Go find his father and treat him like trash for being fake and heartless.
Ffs please stop insulting women who have been lied to, abused and broken yet get up every day and fight for their child. They put their child before themselves while being drug through the mud by society and a system that trashes them for being the parent who shows up consistently.

I hate this facet of society and I sincerely wish people would lay off and here's a wild thought, try being kind and supportive to women who are forced to go it alone. Try being nice to the kids who don't understand why their daddy doesn't want them.
