You ever hear something and it makes you cry?

My teenage daughter has a bf who spends a lot of time at our house. He is painfully quiet. I never know what to say to him. His mother died of cancer just last year. He keeps his feelings to himself. While talking to my daughter yesterday she said " you know what he said to me? He said I really love your mum". He talked about how he loves being at our house and doing family stuff with us. I had no idea. I must have cried for 10 mins. Im so glad we can give him that. 18 is a hard enough age, without losing your mother.

I lost my mom when I was 10, thank you for being there for this young man.

@SatanBurger I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how hard it would be to have to leave my kids. 😥
