What can i do to contain my near-puberty boys as a lone mother?

i always think in that matter since divorce , now my boys are near puberty and i need some advices, how can i handle my boys in this difficult duration in their life, my older son started to have more fights with his school mates, how to handle him without being too cruel with him

You really have to talk to him, find out what is going on, which might be too hard at this point if you do not have that kind of relationship already. He is acting out for some reason, have to get to the bottom of that.
