What should I tell my mother?

I have this “friend” let’s call her Sam. Sam used to be my best friend until last year. She was really rude to me so I stop talking to her. This has happened before but my mom and her mom are really good friends so we “got back together.” Well Sam is perfect in my moms eyes so my mom always compares me to her. This really hurts because I am her own daughter and she treats me like dirt. I still see sam once a week because we have a dance class with her. I don’t know what to do, I am heart broken? What should I tell my mom?

Once there was a girl with a friend named Sam,
But their relationship hit a nasty jam.
Sam had insulted her, a hurtful blow,
Yet our girl knew how to make their friendship glow.

She offered Sam some Green Eggs & Ham,
But Sam replied, "No, thank you, ma'am."
Undeterred, our girl spoke with conviction,
"I'm fully certain, it's not just fiction.

These green eggs and ham, you'll enjoy it's true,"
She said with a smile and a waving hand, too.
Sam took a bite, and her taste buds danced,
The insult was forgotten, their friendship enhanced.

So if you're ever in a similar plight,
And a friendship seems lost out of sight,
Just offer some Green Eggs & Ham with zeal,
And watch how quickly bad feelings can heal.

@Teirdalin How long did it take you to write that haha?

@Casheyane I tossed together a rough-draft in like 7 minutes and then tossed it back and forth with chatGPT till I was content with it. ChatGPT really helps with thinking up rhyming words and changes.

@Teirdalin that made me laugh because I didn’t know what you were talking about until half way though
