seriously macolm do you not know what biological means. Rachel i remeber the days of 5 people i dont really miss it. 3 kids is a small number in my church. my husband is actually one of 9 with 2 adopted and 7 biological. there is 13 people in our house and this summer there will 14. My stepdad's nephew is going to university in chattanooga in the fall and hes coming to find a job and learn his way around before school starts.

Sassygirl - I know that... but actually the word biological doesn't strictly mean 'from the same parent(s),' although I know it's used like that. It really means 'derived from a living organism.' However, its use adds a whole new dimension to biological warfare! ;-)

i thought doctor would know what to do but i cant argue with you because according to your age, you are an experienced person and you know those situations way better than i do. thank you for the information btw. maybe it will help for my 10-15 years later when i become a mum :D

Put an ice chip in a clean, preferably new white baby sock and let him chew on it. Or you could buy a boohoo buddy, but the sock works just as well. And you will have a pair of them so you don't even have to make him wait when one I'd no longer cold.

yeah hes doing well and i got enough sleep last night to do my history final this morning. all i have left is math and english which i have a few more lessons of both to complete before i can take their finals.

lol not all biological we have a blended family. my mom has 3 living biological. i have a brother who drowned at 4. She adopted 2 little boys last year and remarried (my parents divorced last summer) to a man with 4 girls.

Activity is good so maybe you can get him to play and get tired. What do the experts say about gum massage? If it is safe, consider it.

thats really great to live with a big family. i have 3 sisters and parents living in our house which means only 6 people.

ill try that serenitree. i even tried one my lil brothers teething biscuits once but that kinda scares me because thats not made for 6 month olds.

Rachel i do have mega experience. Four kids, six grandkids, and many years as a childcare provider. Some twenty or more in all. Ice in a sock always worked for me.

rachel my mom is here to help me also she has 9 kids i was just seeing if anybody else had an idea other than what i was trying.

thank you rachel but with infants which you will probably realize when you have babies you dont have to go to the dr for teething.

Rachel, parents really don't need to take a baby to a doctor for teething pain. The doctor can't do anything.

I'll try it next tooth right now he's a happy boy proudly enjoying his new skill of sitting up on his own
