I Hate Being Grounded

I prefer using a switch
A few stripes and its over with ,you have been punished
and I don't have to keep track of if you are abiding with the conditions of you being grounded

I got tired of breaking my own phones

"your grounded from the phone " and come in and catch them on the phone anyway

No I believe in swift and just punishment

Then we can move on and not drag it out

My kids thank me for how I disciplined them now
They are not dead like many of their friends
or addicts or in prison
We have sang at way to many funerals
Kids that never know about consequences ,,
until they paid for it with their lives

I don't know of 1 parent that loves punishing kids ,
not 1
my Mom would beat you without mercy ,,but even she regretted it after she calmed down
But I knew from her ,,the switch was effective
and really didn't harm us ,,it just stung for a bit
We knew to remember ,,we didn't want any more of them

i get grounded all the time... its like my parents dont understand i am bipolar

my mom took my phone today for 2 hours. that is almost like being grounded. it was stupid why she took it from me
