I Hate Being Grounded

Curious what grounding means for everyone. Usually I can't go out except for school and stuff my parents want me to do. Plus I usually lose my phone and sometimes my computer and internet too.

Grounding for me means no phone, supervised use of the laptop for homework, in bed by 9 every night, and what they call zero tolerance to any bad behaviour while I'm grounded, so no warnings. It's so boring, I hate it!

You guys are lucky! If I got grounded, it was after a spanking and it meant staying in my room, sitting on my bed except for bathroom, meals and school. I could read schoolbooks or do homework. No tv, phone, internet, radio, other books. Nothing.

I always get my phone taken away, but not my laptop as I usually need it for schoolwork. I have to stay in my bedroom, which I hate 😕

My parents are a bit more extreme. When I'm grounded they usually take my phone for two weeks and check my history.

@SW-User Eh, I get why they sometimes ground me. I fucked up and need to be taught a lesson. But as for the whole history thing, thank god for incognito mode.

For me this means los of privileges like not seeing friends, no phone, tv, internet (sometimes), and wearing clothes imposed by mom, and sometimes corner time.
