I Never Met My Grandfather

I wish I could've met my grandfather, sadly he was hospitalized due to a heart attack but it was lung cancer that got him he smoked all his life since age 13. My father sometimes tells stories about how he wanted to be a lawyer and his time living in Alaska Anchorage and Fairbanks. But more depressingly how he was beaten by his father, my brother inherited his blonde hair and blue eyes it's really odd but nice at the same time. I always wanted to get to know him more if he were still here. My Grandfather was German, but he married a women of color so he got backlash for that since it was in the 1950s. I miss him.
