If he knew what I was cooking that day, and he didn't make his wishes before that day, I would be pissed when all he could do was complain. Been there, done that, listened to the complaints (random things). So now, I simply refuse to put forth effort anymore knowing it will be met with scorn or insults.

My advice would be as you seem to be an excellent cook, instead cook your husband since he's being a chop.
