What is a TRUE Father to you?

🧑‍⚕️Think back to when you were younger. Was Your Father someone you looked up to?
OR Did you wish your Father was more like another man in your life? If you wished your Father was like another man, use a Title (Teacher, Friend's Dad, Neighbor, Uncle, ect.). WHY?

My father taught me the value of hard work and being a good provider for the family. As a result, success is almost second nature.

On the opposite side, I was disowned and later removed from a rather large will even as his only living child. That stung at a level that’s hard to comprehend. I also got sued for leaving a family business. That sucked too even though I won the suit. He and my mother also refused to come to my first wedding because I married a Catholic. My wedding present was received by certified mail- my college loans with a note that I could take over the payments.

No father is perfect. But, the great thing about unfortunate things as you age, they end and you get to smile.

I do every day.

Still not a big fan of Father’s Day though tbh.

Not all daddies can claim to be Father. A father is one who lays a clear path to the future generation. Only a father has legacy. Also a father need not be a dad. A father is a leader who shields his family from the perils of life. And I know of many women who have performed as an excellent Father, but without recognition.

A Father is a hood that is genderless. While mother is for the physical well being of a child, Father is for the intellectual well being.
Yes I looked up to him and I heard a saying once, "anyone can be a father but to be a dad takes effort and caring" .
He was the best

My father was a very good role model! He was a hard worker, honest, faithful and kind! He taught me the value of good morals and hard work. When I was younger and my mother was mentally ill, he spent countless hours playing board games with me, watching movies and taking me along wherever he went. Sadly I lost him in my teens and that was when everything changed. Still I think he left me with a lot of strength that’s allowed me to make my way. My dad was 49 when ge passed.

A Child without a father figure in their life will seek one,
🙏Pray for such children, that they DON'T fall victim to those who PREY on them.
My dad was a great role model. I consider myself fortunate to have had such wonderful parents.

@BlueGreenGrey Don't rely about who i am; reply about who YOU ARE and Who your Father is or was or wished he was.
