Please help

Hi so I'm fatherless and my father who i never met been trying to meet me he visit at my adress this morning this isnot thr fitst time im scared because sometimes when I'm alone I could hear knocking idk if im over thinking he sometimes vist me tho i haven't seen him im scared something bad will happen since I always go home in the afternoon alone all day and my door is made out of wood even if i did change it to a secure one i don't have money for it im scared to go home by myself now but should i still go or stay somewhere else on my break? And what reason he even wants to see me?
