I Admire My Father
It's not just a deep love I have fir him but I also greatly admire my father.
After my near drowning episode when I was six he set about ensuring I could swim and swim with great confidence. Despite the pressures of his work he was always home on a Tuesday evening to take me to the swimming baths in all weathers to teach me how to swim, but with a healthy fear of the sea.
Other things, like the trouble I had with the school I went to in Rennes, he pulled out all the stops and got me accepted at his old school in Versailles, and arranged for a place for me to live, a family he knew through his work, until such time as Mum and he moved to Paris.
He is ever thoughtful, and seeks to solve any problem that comes along to safeguard Mum and me. He is being ever diligent for Mum with her illness these days.
