I will probably get a lot of criticism for saying this but :
A mother can be a mother and a father at the same time if needed.
A father could never take over the tasks of the mother with as much committment as the mother.
So, I personaly think a mother is of more importance in a child's development than a father.
Don't get me wrong : I love my dad, we have a great relationship but I'm just convinced of this fact.
