I was basically indifferent to whether or not I ultimately did my part in making any of those for my whole life until the last couple of years. But after witnessing the abject misery these things have wrought in the lives of nearly everyone I know who has produced them, I can now confidently say I [i]don't[/i] want to experience that for myself.
I have met a small handful of children I liked, but it seems to be about a 10:1 ratio of bad to good ones. The odds I would end up loathing any of the ones I make and resenting their existence seem too high to take the risk at this point. Not to mention the stress of having to plan out their lives in a way that meets simultaneously meets the expectations of society and doesn't fuck them up too badly.
Happily, I've got no fertile wombs clamoring after my sperm at the moment, so it's not something I need to worry about much until further notice.
