It’s such a slap in the face when people in my real life insinuate that I haven’t fought hard enough/exhausted every option

They don’t realize the level of privilege involved in even having those options. So I get to feel doubly guilty for the people I’ve outlived with this disease just because I had the money to fight it and also guilty because I haven’t fought hard enough.

I'm so sorry you were made to feel that way. I'm quite sad for you but I understand that you want to keep your dignity. You want to live your remaining life as comfortable as possible. No one can fault you for that. Praying that you find peace in your heart. 🤗🙏🏻
