I’m that adult

@SW-User Why do you choose to be that adult then? Genuine ask

@Casheyane it’s not through choice
Casheyane · F
@SW-User I am curious about your story. But I respect if you want to keep it to yourself.

I can't speak about what I do not know. It is your life.

But from where I am, in my own story, strength came when there is no other choice. And the only choice I could make is go forward despite the difficulties and pain. It helped me be who I am now. And even now, I am evolving still.

So for me, there is always a choice. Everything is always a choice. Sometimes the choices are just not what we would wish upon ourselves. But when you're fighting for something, for someone, for the ones you love, you learn to fight for yourself too.

@Casheyane I’ve been fighting for 14 years. My mental health does not allow me to work right now. I tried university but dropped out twice due to my health

@SW-User If I may, can I ask what is the mental health problem? What is the state of your mind?
You don't have to answer if you are uncomfortable. Just that I know someone who stopped at college and haven't been looking for work. I don't know if it's a depression induced thing or something else.
Sometimes it is hard to even try to understand. So I thought if I could talk to people who think the same as him, maybe I'd get an idea what I can do.
