I Have Family Members That Get On My Nerves

My father left the country today, and I hate that it makes me more comfortable knowing he's out of the house. He usually isn't home but knowing he's far away just makes me relax and enjoy my time alone without having to worry what he will complain or comment on when he is home. feels very freeing which kind of hurts to say. I wish I had a good relationship with him and often get sad when I see other girls who are so close to their fathers and can joke around with them while I am jumpy and chose to avoid him. it is just the hand I am dealt with. here's to a month of semi-relaxation.
