I Have Family Members That Get On My Nerves

Opinion: The people you love the most are the very people who hurt you the most.

They deny their racist remarks are racist, they are racist, when they are hurting they hurt others.

Then when people try to point out that something is wrong they act offended and deny their behaviors.

( I always find denial peculiar)

Nothing like spending the holidays with rude family memebers

Oh !! I love my mom the most.... she is an arrogant ... she never saysplease to anyone as if they are her servants.... when I remind her of that, she always tells me that it is my habit to defend others against her... and that is what makes me go mad...

I gave noticed that we. Cannot change them, but for our own sake, we can lower our expectations from them... the more perfectionist we are, the more we get controlling and the more we get hurt... no one is supposed to be perfect...

Having said that, if I had a racist relative, I would cut my ties with them.. lol ... sorry for saying this...

@Soossie racism is pass down from generation to generation. Too bad her parents did not take her out of the racist environment in their extended family.
