If you got divorced, what did you do with your wedding ring?

@beermeplease I heard once that the bell ringers for the Salvation Army that stand in front stores around Christmas, get engagement and wedding rings donated every year

@Unefilletrescurieuse it's more of a sentimental thing than a monetary one...i still have my parent's wedding bands side by side, draped over their urns in my living room...i often think what will happen to them when i pass...i have no one to give them too

@beermeplease You kept theirs but would throw yours “in the trash”? If it’s sentimental, wouldn’t you want to keep it? 🤔

@Unefilletrescurieuse not if it was a sentimental thing that went sideways ..why would i want to keep a sentimental thing of a person i once loved only to have that relationship destroyed? i can't do it
