Dealing with divorce
I'm trying come to terms with where I am.
The last two years have been a nightmare.
I found out my husband was having an affair with a young girl. Not only that but he'd been having affairs behind my back for years, even with someone I'd considered a good friend.
I tried to repair it but there wasn't anything to repair really.
I ended up sofa surfing around friends in my church and drinking far too much. Finally the old friend who'd cheated with my husband told me to wise up. I went to a good solicitor and drove through a tough divorce.
My kids wanted to stay in the big house with dad and the new girlfriend. That was probably the most painful thing.
A few months ago I moved into a new house in a new city and was simply totally lost. I met a neighbour who's been just brilliant. She was the first person I didn't feel was judging me. She keeps suggesting here so I thought I'd try it.
