Aside from devastating blows like affairs, abuse, addictns and such, how did you know you were really ready to throw in the towel with your marriage?

@Montanaman Seems a waste of time people get divorced too quickly. You don't need to marry someone to want to share the rest of your life with them.

@Montanaman My grandparents were married for 50+ years and i bet there was times where it was difficult and they wanted something different. but they stuck together because they swore an oath. 😇

@SarithBorn my sister in law and her life partner have been together for almost 30 years and marriage would probably ruin what they have. Considered a common law marriage in Michigan.
