I just couldn’t take it anymore, I gave chance after chance, I gave way too many, then one day I just said enough. I’m not doing this anymore, it was never going to change, I was just letting myself down by staying.
I remember the day, it was just after Christmas 2018, he was complaining about me again, all he ever did was complain, caused mayhem every Christmas.

I left the house laughing at how crazy it all was, why am I tolerating this, I went for a walk and started crying.

I told him March 2019 it was over, we had to live together for a bit until he moved abroad.
Nearly 4 years to the date my divorce came through. It wasn’t easy with a pandemic on top and having to isolate with him.
Felt like I had the longest breakup ever lol 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks, I did cry for 3 days when it came through, relief, sadness, didn’t feel like it was a celebration at all but absolutely no regrets. 🥺
