I Am Getting a Divorce

I am divorced. It took me a while to figure out, but I never loved my husband. I thought I did, I convinced myself I did, but I never did, and I dont think he loved me either. We both settled, and then treated eachother like garbage. I only figured that out when I stumbled upon what it was really supposed to be like... and he still wont admit it, but I dont want to live my life married to the wrong person.

@PoetryNEmotion just, realizing that I fell in love with someone else... and learning that I never felt that way for my spouse, and I should have at some point... but I never did... but also, not being able to be with the one I want. I cant live in a lie... I know a lot of people do, probably because they are afraid, feel guilty, or have no back up plan...

Now that it's no longer a serious consideration for me, I have arrived at a decision.

The only reason ever to marry is when, after significant experience with the intended, NOT marrying is unthinkable.
