Nonna will have the washing machines going while we are out shopping

She likes all tablecloths and towels freshened up every day, and there is a little pressing for one or two of us under her instruction sometimes. She isn’t a taskmaster but she’s adamant there’s a correct way to do things.

It’s strange that this life lesson learned more than sixty years ago when she lived at home with her parents and their housekeeper has stuck. She is her own housekeeper with the help of her daughter in law and her grandchildren, but the proper way of doing things is just that!
