Parent catfishing?

So my Dad is a good dad and him and my mom have always told me never to like, send anything online I wouldn't want them to see but IG they knew I'd kinda give in some day, and wanted to like see if I would listen, and the guy I've been talking to for like a month um... ended up being my dad w like a fake number and account. I'm so embarrassed. Things like, kinda went far. IG he was seeing how far I would go disobeying. I didnt know where to put this but like, it's a weird mix of like my dad teaching me a lesson and protecting me but also maybe crossing a line cause of what we talked about and did and stuff. IDK how to feel about it.

Dang… that’s a lot.

I get your dad was trying to protect you, but pretending to be someone else — especially when things went that far — feels like more than just a lesson. That had to be confusing and honestly kind of violating.

Sounds like you might be in some trouble too though. Want to talk more about what actually happened before you found out it was him? If you're cool sharing, I’m down to listen.
