They have their own values and principles for those values, instead of the majorities values and principles.
Principles are the basis of values. Without either you are selfish. Yet having your own principles says you have thought it through.
Most really just accept the majorities principles and values. So they are likely to be hypocritical.

Most used car salesman appear good looking, kind and courteous and possibly seem to be generous.
That's is until you have bought the junk car and it's too late.
A principled person would never sell a junk car, as a working car.
Ask yourself why? 🤷🏻♂
