No big party, just big birthday love.💕

Planning my soon to be 9yr old's birthday cake, even though she's not having a birthday party this year.🥳

Omg she's almost 9!🥹 I remember being pregnant with her and I was here chatting on SW to pass the time and be entertained while my eldest slept during the day.☺

So instead of a party, we've decided to celebrate with a special day out. It'll just be her, her sister and one of her friends enjoying some playtime together followed by dinner. This will take place on the weekend after her actual birthday.

With her cake on her actual birthday, she has her heart set on a galaxy-themed one with an astronaut, a rocket ship and planets.🚀 Inside, she wants a marbled cake in orange and blue, finished with touches of silver and gold. 🌌

I actually apologised to the cake maker for such a detailed request! Thankfully she's so patient and understanding. We've been loyal customers for years and I'm always grateful for the care and creativity she puts into making my girls' birthday cakes so special. 🎂💕
