Quick update before I eat dinner

Star was taken to her room and within a few minutes she crashed, bp dropped and they rushed her to surgery. She had internal bleeding that was missed because they were so worried about her head and neck trauma. They had to remove her spleen and half her liver and reinflat her right lung. She is stable now and should be out of surgery in a hour or so. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and prayers. We're in for a long night but I think she's going to be ok.

OMG. Next door neighbor reported we had something similar happen here during the summer. Hit at a red light at 80MPH never used his brakes. Kills me.

She in the ICU and the driver was barely hurt because he was high

@Cigarguy The person who was hit survived, She was in about the same condition as Star. They man was drunk, and he had a kid in the truck. He tried to flee the scene. The driver was arrested, and there was a report some one died, so I assume it was the child in the truck. Sad all around. Praying for Star. She has a long road ahead in recovery.

@Confined well thankfully all of her stats have been proved since she's been on the ventilator. The doctor thinks it was just too hard for her to breathe because of the trauma and the surgeries. So they're just going to let her body rest in heal
