Are kids today bummed that they couldn’t celebrate the millennial?

All through 1999 there was propaganda about all the horrible things that might happen when it rolled over to 2000, it kind of ruined Y2K. More fear than excitement.
Kind of like how 2020 was supposed to be great and well, we know what happened.

For people who were not yet born or too young to grasp what was going on, I have never heard them express any interest in Y2K.

Some people DO get nostalgic over a time or place they never experienced. But I do not think anyone misses or gets nostalgic over 2000 whether they were there or not.

2000 and 2020 were supposed to be pretty awesome years,for their respective reasons, but of COURSE the media and "powers" had to ruin them.
