When my twins were just kids, they set up a lemonade stand just outside of a KFC, just under the sign to hide in it's shade. They would go inside of the KFC to get more water and the owner would help them...Then there were these two police officers who asked if my little boys had a permit to sell lemonade there, the owner came out and said he'll cover them, and that they were fine to sell lemonade there...They were just kids!!! They're grown up now, they're 25 now, but there were many times when they would go out there and try to make their own money, singing for a dollar, selling used magazines, mowing lawns and doing yard work, snow shuveling and lemonade stands in this small town,
