What sort of relationship do you have with your kids?

Is it affectionate, is it "hi-bye"? Are there hugs and kisses? Do they tell you when they have issues or do they hide things from you? If they've moved out, do they call, visit?

I have a great relationship with my son. We talk a lot and about everything. he tells me when he has issues, sometimes he does try hiding some problems he is having but its easy to tell when he is doing that and it doesnt take much for him to open up.
He lives with me half the time and the other half with his mother but for several years now he has been with me when ever he can.

We are very close

@Torsten Must be extremely hard not having him around you all the time, especially as it sounds like he is still very young

@TheOthetAcc yeah at times it certainly is but his mother is good to him and he should spend time with his mother also. So i try and keep that in mind instead over myself
