Like many kids, I was all about dinosaurs when I was young.

And today, out at the mall, I decided to look into a small hippie looking shop that sells rocks and crystals. I was surprised to see they sold a few real (albeit small) fossils. There were some standard fare like trilobites and prehistoric mollusks. But then I saw something that the card said was a spinosaurus tooth! The place seemed to be legit and I decided to get it for my 7 year old son. When I was his age, I was all about dinosaurs and would have lived a real fossil. So I got it as well a some jumbo cookies for the family.
And let me tell you, he was so excited… when he saw that cookie.
He wasn’t too impressed with the actual dinosaur tooth! 😂
I guess I can’t live vicariously through him.
Sounds like the Nature and Things store within the Pioneer Place Mall in DownTown Portland, which also had a cookie shop that sold them the size of dessert plates, they also sold them so fast that they'd have a new batch out of the oven nearly every fifteen minutes, they also had the best muffins and brownies as well.
