My Dad was originally in the Italian navy when he met my Mum. They were from different areas in Napoli, and at first it didn't tell, but gradually there was a case, even with my Mum doing so well as a result of her graduation from university.
After a time my father's side of the family got a little too touchy with how outspoken my Mum could be. My father revealed he had an illegitimate daughter, my half sister, which upset my Mum on a gradual basis, when she saw him favouring her over me, and then being quite nasty to my brother.
It all came to a head two weeks after my thirteenth birthday, and by that May (2009), my Dad had returned to Italy, to Napoli, and the mother of his first daughter. My mother will not grant him a divorce.
