I Come From a Broken Family
Mum was a single parent for a couple of years, then dad came on the scene......
Then mum and dad split and dad had custody of me....and for around 3 years I didn’t have mum in my life....and then she was there only fleeting.....
All very odd....all very conflicting....
When I was 16 those tables turned and I was closer to mum but dad was away...
So, emotionally, I find myself all over the place....
These days, both my parents are away and having their life’s but they are around every so often, just not as often as I would like....
I have a husband and 4 beautiful girls and I deliberately am very inclusive with them all; wanting them all to feel loved and valued.....and not have gone through what I had....
Of course I had love. My parents, separately, loved me....and loved each other....but they just couldn’t live together.
