I Come From a Broken Family

My dad divorced my mom when I was 4. He didn't want me, but my mom did. He passed about 2 years later, same time my mom got a new boyfriend. I liked him at first. 1 year into the relationship, he became an a*shole. He started beating me. My mom never noticed, considering she works most of the time. He eventually moved in. It's pretty much been that way ever since.
