I just learnt, what i think is going to be one of my favouritest pieces of useless information:
Mushrooms:
We share 50% of our dna with them.
- We share fundamental eukaryolic biology with them like metabolism: mushrooms turn evergy to glucogen, like we do.
Some also produce vitamin d from sunlight like us.
And there is this 'panspermia' theory that they could come from space coz of how they survive in a vacuum, extreme temperatures, (some even feed on radiation)
Couple this with the fact that they, (mushrooms that is), are actually the sexual oragan part of the mycelium, growing up to spread spores everywhere....
....it means that mushrooms are literally SPACE PENISES.
Id like to thank Clarksons Farm for this truly spectacular, piece of info.
I googled it . Did a bit of research - and yeah....it pretty much pans out 👍😏
SO.....after all this, i shall, (from now on), giggle at all vegans who call mushrooms vegetarian meat. 😜
