@tonialta I hated the belt Receiving it! OMG how MUCH it hurt when my dad used to TEAR MY BUTT UPWith it during my teenage years. But having been on THAT end of it and how effective it was as a punishment, its EXACTLY why I used it as a punishment on both daughters and our son in there teenage days. Believe me I NEVER had to use it for the 2nd time for anything they got punished with it.

@tonialta well I certainly respect your opinion of the belt . Its certainly your right to not use it when punishing any of your kids when they deserved it. But I SURELY know how it was effective with our kids.!

@DADDYDEAN yes I understand. But I also know firsthand the damage it can do if it gets out of hand or carried away
