I Am A Teen And Still Have A Babysitter

@nickymims for overnight, I had one until I was like seventeen. That might have been in part because I had younger siblings too. But the babysitter was in charge of all of us. Even now, my mom will have someone stop in every few hours to check on us

@nickymims my mom never saw a need to ask about behavior because she knew that all her babysitters would rat us out if we didn't act right lol

@nickymims I babysit other kids now, and unless they do something really really awful, refuse to tell on them. If they misbehave on my time, it's my issue, not the parent's. To have parents punish for it too completey defeats any semblance of authority that a babysitter has

@nickymims I had other kids who used to tell on me to my mom, so I'd tell the babysitters that the seven year old down the road made the exact same threat to me and the babysitter stopped saying it almost immediately lol

I have the same friends down the street too. hate them

@nickymims I just avoided the kids. No reason to hang out with tattletails 😂

I try to avoid them too
