Sleeping with baby?
I understand if u all follow mid wife instructions, "Baby sleeps in cot, check on baby regularly..."
However we sleep with our baby in same bed, as we have King size bed! We follow Mid Wife's instructions but it is equally important we use our own brain. You any idea how many times the baby muffles that cannot b picked up by Baby Monitor? Here's a baby suffering n here's u fast asleep! Having baby same bed is convenient, feed is close and muffles are dealt with instantly.
Partners sleep either side baby in middle. Go for 3 single duvet/ blanket so it is easier n safer. Alternatively baby is in middle and next to the baby place pillows for obvious safety reasons!
About 6 to 9 months later baby will b sleeping in cot, once we deem it safe to sleep on its own. But cot and baby monitor?? Not yet... later not yet.
