because i'm adopted there is a possibility i could obtain dual citizenship in both usa and canada if both my birth parents are from canada and the usa

If one of my birth parents is american and the other is canadian that would mean i may be both american and canadian and that could mean i could be able to obtain dual citizenship in both canada and the USA

@SnipingSvelte i don't think canadians/americans who work/live in canada pay income tax to the irs if working in canada....do they?

@beermeplease i'm not an expert, but americans in canada were on the news a year or 2 ago trying to stay away from the long arm of the irs and the canadian banks reporting to the irs including canadians who didn't even know they had a connection to america. americans are taxable on their worldwide income, which is apparently different to 99% of countries
