I’m sure it was a good reason. Mine was a teen mom who wanted to go to college and couldn’t afford a baby. Being Korean she would have had no support from her family or the community around her
My mom was in her 20s but not in a good spot in her life to care for another child. She had her daughter with her a tthe time and had given up another child a year before me. No family support either @SW-User
