I completely agree. Our daughter is adopted. She is now 21.

It's ideal, imo, because I'm an antinatalist. I'd decided I'd never reproduce, but it hit me later on that if I wanted to be a dad, I could adopt: and there's nothing wrong with adopting and everything right about it.
