I Admire My Mum [I Admire My Mother]

Goes without saying, really.

Although I was brought up by mum for the first 5 years of my life I can't really remember it all that well. What I do remember is dad on the scene and living with him until I was 16.

Mum would come over, 'cos dad had custody of me, every month and then every week.

She was, and is, cool. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Fun. Caring.

Giving me pep talks, advice...treating me as a friend as well as a daughter.

We grew very close..always up for a hug and a kiss...that's my mum.

Much to be admired.

Much to live up to.
