Hate change!!

So a lot is going to be happening in my future and I am dreading it already!

So my I have two sons still living at home 21 and 25 but my 21 year old has decided he wants to move to Sweden to be with his girlfriend so his in the process of doing that but his like my bestfriend so him leaving especially abroad will be so hard.

My 25 year old told me his always going to be moving out soon to be with his girlfriend who would only be about an hour away but will also be hard to deal with.

Hubby works a lot as well so I will be home on my own with my 3 dogs and as much as I love my dogs and they keep me company it won’t be the same for me.

I don’t deal with change at all I can feel the impending doom of being here on my own and it’s horrible.

I recently have made new friends and I’m trying to put things in place to replace my bordem and loneliness but it’s going to be hard having none of my boys around anymore.

Being a mum is hard as I love my boys so much and they have kept me alive in all honesty as I struggle with mental health but I know I got to be strong!!

I got this right?

Well the fact that they're fit and healthy and ready to fly the nest is testament to the hard work you've put in.

I suspect they'll be back periodically and more often than you think.

Either because they too will be missing their folks and needing any excuse to use the washing machine; get the car fixed or get a decent bacon sandwich.
Or perhaps coupledom won't be as rosy as they'd hoped and they'll want reassuring noises from the folks who know them best.

But you need to start the next chapter of life.

What's that going to involve ?
Some sort of job ?
Start a business ?
A college course ?
Overhaul of physical or mental or emotional wellbeing via therapy or exercise ?
@Picklebobble2 that’s is very true thank you for that and yes I see my eldest who only lives about an hour away.

Well I can’t work due to mental health and fibromyalgia so hence why I need friends as I have started driving again so I guess it will be lunch dates and coffee days
You've got this.
Soon the things that change become the new normal.
They'll always be your boys.
@Mindfulness thank you 🙏🏻 it’s hard as I’m such a family person but yeah I guess once they are both gone other things will come into place and life will be ok!
@Spiritualangel777 Life will be better than OK, but take OK for the moment.
