My brother finally contacted me after weeks of me pleading

After our mom died last October, he has been super distant. I've been so worried about him.

But today he and I chatted for a while today, and he's doing well. He bought 7 acres of undeveloped land in Tennessee, and is going to let a company come in and pay him to log it, and he's gonna probably use some of the timber to build a little cabin for himself.

I'm so relieved that he's doing well, my mind was thinking of all the worst possible situations.
