We had assigned weekly chores for our kids. I don't know how that relates. We also tried various time-out punishments and rewards for good behavior.
What we discovered about "rewards" is that once a child was accustomed to regularly earning a reward, if it wasn't earned at any point, then the absence of reward felt exactly like a punishment.
In other words, there is no "positive feedback only" behavioral system. Regardless of what you do, some of it will feel like negative feedback AKA punishment.

Well again SOME of us are "Submissive" and WISHED we could find a "Dominant Older Woman" to make us a "Behavior Chart" LMFAO!!! NVM 🤦🤦🤦🤣🤣🤣

We have a "behaviour charter" setting out clear boundaries and expectations within our family. But as an amateur economist, I will always resist a more precise reward-sanction metric. If my work colleagues can easily corrupt a basic performance management system, my children are more than capable of doing the same! 😅

No, I am a mom of two adults and was a teacher to preschool and school age children. I understand them, but for behavior no, everyone in this house had daily chores from the age they could walk. No payment, extra money if they wanted to do chores not on their usual list. Money weekly according to age, one dollar per year of age.
Now the most inspiring use of a type of behavior chart was how my teacher ran his classroom starting in 4th grade. We each got a checkbook. We were paid a flat rate every week. 1 dollar off for every infraction. We could buy and sell things in classroom. At the end of every quarter we could buy an experience with our money. I went deep sea fishing, a Padres game, Pizza and game night etc. In 5th grade we had a school wide garage sale and funded a trip to my states capitol.
